I do not suppose there are any beds that are not hard as a rock down here? I have tried one in nearly every cabin, and they are all most uncomfortable. It would be better to sleep on the ground! When we were banished out of the tree last time, the accommodations, they were much better. I am not impressed. This place, it has always been poorly managed, but now, I see that it is even worse than I thought.

Next time we are driven from our little homes and what little lives we have, I would like more comfortable accommodations. Do note this, whomever manages these sort of things, hm?

Try cutting some evergreen branches and piling them up. They're comfortable enough with a blanket over the top.

What, with a saw? And remove my own hand? First, my good person, I do not know which tree would be evergreen. Or if they all are. Second, I do not have a saw. And third, I like my hands where they are. Attached to me.

My dear Krile, and this is Krile, yes? I do not think I have ever seen buildings like this. Further, I do not think they count as buildings. A good building, it has power. It has rooms. These, they have rocks. Masquerading as beds. Therefore, they are not buildings.

That's me! And if it's got a roof that keeps off the rain, walls that keep out the wind, and a floor that keeps out the dirt I say it's a building.

You didn't bring any spare blankets, did you? That could help soften it up.

Myself, I think that buildings should be held to a higher standard. Lackluster buildings, if we are to grow accustomed to them, then we will be stuck with them. By demanding better, sometimes you receive better, no?

Yes. I brought several blankets. And I wear them all. Drafty, it is a mild word for these walls.

Usually, I think it's better to just try and fix things yourself. There was an evacuation a while ago when the Wilderness was just made of candy, so I think we should make the best of camping out here.

Oh--then, just think that this will only be for a week or two and how much more you'll appreciate your own bed.

Who reads those? The key is lost the moment it goes up, and no one bothers to empty them out. No. They want us all to write in our little journals like good little citizens, so I write in my little journal.

There is, though complaints haven't been exclusive to Toushi or his particularly limited arguments and vocabulary.

I myself am rather impressed the Wilderness was willing to give us accommodations at all. You could be sleeping in the open air now, rather than some place sheltered from the elements.

It even has blankets.

In a year of living here, that was the first Wilderness that was truly comfortable to live in for any period of time. As far as I am aware, most do not even have beds.

Well, perhaps there would be another blanket or two in one of the storage rooms, but other than that, you will simply have to get used to it. It is better by far than being forced to sleep on the ground.

This is public, no? Should it not be good enough? Surely people can write now, voting that they agree or not. Or perhaps we should set up a little box in one of the shelters that does not entirely qualify as a building. A voting box, since some like to pretend that they have privacy, hm?

Yes, but who shall count the votes and report it to the management with a box? And with the journals, we cannot prevent people from gaming the system. ...Although, we can always game it right back.
