Make a wish. For three days, this paper, I have stared at it. What possible wish that one would write would come true? It is that damnable question all over again. What do you want? Maybe, maybe, there is more that is wanted than one can say! Did whomever asked that question ever thing about that?

This paper, it is a mockery. Make a wish. Pah. Wishes are futile anyway. This, it is not worth the paper it is written on.

That is the problem, hm? I do not know what sort of thing I want. I want my people. I want to go home. I want my name. I want my friend. I want a good drink. The list, it goes on. To pick one is to make an impossible decision.

My good boy. There is no such thing as wanting too much. When limits are placed on wanting, what then does anyone get? Nothing.

So. That, it is simple, and I think that it could even 'do the trick.' I need no names, though. My own, what good would it do? Perhaps the name of the very annoying man, but then I cannot use it to find him. He is not here, hm?

Why not be able to put a name to his face if he does appear? I have been slowly stopping my wait for the one I would were here, it has been too long.

Those are the kinds of wishes one can grant oneself. Perhaps I'm easier to please than most, but I don't know what I'd wish for if I had the opportunity.
